Liz is a Native American student, belonging to the Chinook Tribe. She is also an artist- and has her own page which she has started on Instagram (gldnspirit.creations). Liz makes drawings, paintings and portraits on her free time and is often asked to make creations of her clients favorite fictional characters or animals.
Favorite Childhood Memory: Attending a Canoe Journey when she was 8, Liz was there for the “Big Landing” when over 100 canoes come to the end of their canoe journey.
Tell us about more about your Native American Heritage: Liz is part of the Chinook Tribe, located around the Columbia River in both Oregon and Washington. Liz is a dancer for her tribe and she also sings. She loves the Salmon Ceremonies in the summer, usually located around Fort Columbia or Chinook, Washington.
Where you can find Elizabeth: At home working on homework or working on her art with her crazy cat Milli…or at the gym!
Personal Goals: Liz would like to learn more about Cultural Art and Tribal Art.
Career Goals: Liz hopes to get her Masters degree in Indian Education and work for a reservation school.
